You, Me, Him, Her

About this book

Written between 2011 and 2012. A Taiwanese designer lands in Shanghai for the first time, then Hong Kong, and tries to learn corporate life and everyone else’s rules at the same time — the office politics, the romances, the culture clashes. Company names are blurred (one three-letter global architecture firm in particular); the cities are exactly as they were. Reading it back a decade later, none of it has dated.

這是我在 2011 到 2012 年間寫下的職場故事。當時我剛搬到中國工作，一年後到同一間公司的香港辦公室，在這個快速發展的環境中，遇到了各種光怪陸離的職場生態。

雖然這些是十多年前發生的事，但職場中的「有毒的權力動態（toxic dynamics）」、權力鬥爭和人際關係，放到今天依然驚人地似曾相識。為了保護當事人，具體的公司名稱已經模糊處理（例如用「某間三個字母的全球知名公司」代替），但城市和發生的事件都被真實保留了下來。

這不只是一個故事，也是我對那個瘋狂時代的一種紀錄。
